The biggest value I receive from being a member of the group is being able to meet with the members in the group who in my mind are my board of trustees. On any given Wednesday morning I can discuss my business finances with my accountant, ask a question for a customer regarding health care costs and plans, seek out suggestions from the marketing/web expert as to what is and isn’t working in the industry and so on. Every member shares their expertise and being able to tap into these resources is invaluable to me in order to offer my customers or just manage my life efficiently. In addition, because I meet with trusted advisors whom I also consider my friends, I am able to be introduced to business owners that I typically would not be able to contact by phone or walk-in. Referral business makes up 80% of my sales quotas.”
A little about myself
It can never be all work and no play so when I am not focused on my profession of payroll consulting (not sales, I provide solutions to my future customers), I am busy traveling to visit friends and relatives. I often seek a break from work in a warm climate so the beach if my favorite place to be. When I am not doing this, I am busy building up my wine collection and have become knowledgeable about wine and what I like and tend to make larger purchases in order to put away a few bottles to share with special friends down the road. In the warm weather it’s all about outside yard upgrades and upkeep and the vegetable garden.
